Seminars in the Month of January

You may be aware that the Govt. of India and several organisations like Ramakrishna Mission and Vivekananda Kendra are getting ready to celebrate the 150th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in a befitting manner. The focus of the celebrations is the youth of our country, as it was in the youth that Swamiji placed his faith for the regeneration of our Motherland. Programmes for students in schools and colleges, for elderly people engaged  in a variety of Nation building exercises and programmes for the empowerment of women, all these have been envisaged as parts of the celebration.

In this connection Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation plans to conduct a number of seminars and workshops at Ernakulum and Trissur, and Kodungallur based on Swamijis novel approach harmonizing spiritual and worldly lives, as enunciated in his Practical Vedanta.

Modern science has once again shown that its concept of truth is far away from Truth. And modern science is about to do another somersault. The great rishi of modern science Einstein may soon be pushed to a back seat and a new icon may be put in his place. It is the need of the hour that India upholds her Vedantic Vision of the Ultimate Reality and its universal relevance and thus be a guide leading mankind to a new destiny.
